The Jockey Club Phasing In American Express for E-Commerce Transactions

American Express has been added to the payment options for e-commerce transactions on equibase.com and equineline.com as part of a phase in of the billing option among The Jockey Club family of companies.

“American Express provides an added measure of convenience for owners, breeders, handicappers and anyone else who utilizes the varied products and services offered by The Jockey Club and its subsidiaries,” said Jockey Club vice president and controller, Laura Barillaro.

The phase in of American Express will continue later this Summer when Jockey Club InteractiveTM is equipped with the capability to process credit card transactions automatically for registration-related services.

equibase.com offers a full array of handicapping products and racing information, including free entries and results from all North American Thoroughbred tracks. equineline.com offers through the Internet individual reports such as pedigrees and race records as well as an innovative new portfolio service which helps owners, breeders and trainers manage their equine interests through real-time information updates.
