Stallion Owners Encouraged to Submit Reports of Mares Bred

The Jockey Club reminds stallion owners to submit their Reports of Mares Bred (RMBs) for the 2010 breeding season as soon as possible.

“Timely submission of RMBs helps avoid unnecessary delays in the registration process,” said Matt Iuliano, The Jockey Club’s executive vice president and executive director. “Additionally, prompt reporting helps ensure that the breeding and foaling statistics by stallion that we disseminate for the industry’s benefit in the fall are as complete as possible.”

Stallion owners who submit their RMBs by August 1 are among the first to receive their Stallion Service Certificates.

Interactive RegistrationTM (IR) is available at no charge for its registered users at registry.jockeyclub.com. Submission of RMBs via IR greatly reduces the delays associated with traditional mail and manual processing and can result in significantly shorter turnaround times for receipt of Stallion Service Certificates.
