Equibase Introduces Mobile Virtual Stable and Redesigned Web Version

Equibase Company LLC, the Thoroughbred industry’s official database for racing information, has enhanced its free Virtual Stable email notification service to make it accessible via its mobile site and has also upgraded the web version, it was announced today by Equibase Company President and COO Hank Zeitlin.

“Smartphones have changed the way fans follow horseracing, and now with Virtual Stable incorporated into mobile.equibase.com, fans can use their phone to immediately add a horse to their stable no matter where they are,” said Zeitlin. “At the same time, they can maintain their entire stable from their mobile device. We have also streamlined the navigation on the web version and made the experience much simpler for fans using their computers or iPads.”

The Equibase Virtual Stable apprises customers of racing activity that is important to them. In addition to horse notifications, Virtual Stable enables customers to follow individual jockeys, trainers and tracks, Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse stakes races, the leading contenders on the Road to the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, and large carryover pools.
