ABR Announces Launch of Expanded OwnerView Initiative Focused on New Horse Ownership

America’s Best Racing (ABR), the national marketing and fan-development initiative funded by The Jockey Club, today announced a relaunch of OwnerView with the unveiling of a new site: ownerviewracing.com. Formed in 2012 as a joint venture between The Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA), OwnerView has long served as a trusted ownership education platform and resource directory. ABR’s expansion of OwnerView is a natural extension of its mission to grow racing’s fan base, leveraging years of audience-building to move enthusiastic observers into meaningful participants in the sport.

Central to the new site is an interactive Ownership Path Finder quiz that helps prospective owners identify the most appropriate path into the sport based on their individual goals, budget, and lifestyle. The broader platform presents the full range of ownership options in plain language, with honest guidance on costs, commitment, and what the ownership experience is like, complemented by real owner stories and a listing of upcoming events. The site is free of industry jargon and designed to make the first conversation about ownership an inviting one.

“America’s Best Racing has spent more than a decade building awareness and interest in the sport,” said Rachel Miller, ABR’s senior brand marketing manager. “The next logical step is for us to guide that engaged audience from fandom to participation. Our expanded strategy with OwnerView provides fans at every level a real opportunity to have a stake in the sport. We’re seeing audiences engage with racing in new ways, and this platform is designed to meet them at that moment of curiosity and show them a clear path into ownership.”

The existing OwnerView platform at ownerview.com remains fully intact for the longtime owners and industry professionals who rely on it. The site’s extensive digital resource library, educational webinars, and in-person ownership events will all continue without interruption. The launch of ownerviewracing.com represents an expansion of OwnerView’s reach and focus, with an eye toward meeting prospective first-time owners where they are. For many fans, this is about more than understanding how ownership works. It’s about realizing ownership may actually be possible.

“OwnerView has always been rooted in education and transparency,” said TOBA President Dan Metzger. “This evolution is about engaging new audiences and helping them take that first step into ownership with confidence. We’re thrilled to partner with ABR and The Jockey Club in taking a more intentional leadership approach when it comes to converting fans into new owners.”
