Membership in The Jockey Club is by invitation and includes approximately 100 individuals distinguished by their contributions to Thoroughbred breeding and racing. However, you do not need to be a member of The Jockey Club to own, breed, race, sell or otherwise participate in the Thoroughbred industry.
