Now Available to iPhone and Android Users

Equibase Company today unveiled the 2011 edition of the Equibase Racing YearbookTM application (app), which is now available for iPhones as well as smartphones running the Android operating system, it was announced today by Equibase President and COO Hank Zeitlin.

“The 2010 iPhone Yearbook app was enthusiastically embraced after its introduction in September last year, consistently ranking among the top 10% of all free sports apps in the iTunes store,” said Zeitlin. “In fact, at one point it rose to number 11 and was rated one of the 100 Essential Apps of 2010 (out of more than 300,000 apps) by iLounge, an independent reviewer of Apple products. We are confident that both iPhone and Android users will look upon the 2011 Yearbook with equal or more enthusiasm, enhancing their enjoyment of our sport.”

The 2011 Equibase Racing Yearbook app can be downloaded free at itunes.com and the Android Marketplace. It features video replays provided by Post Time Technologies (posttimetech.com), results, pari-mutuel payoffs, and full charts of all 2011 graded stakes races as well as ungraded prep races for the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup. Users can search the app by race name, horse, jockey, trainer or racetrack.

“Post Time Technologies is dedicated to working with Equibase on projects that promote racing, such as the Equibase Racing Yearbook,” said Hardave Gill, president of Post Time Technologies. “The app presents racing’s best races and biggest stars in an attractive package to all iPhone and Android users.”

The Equibase Racing Yearbook app was developed by The Jockey Club Technology Services Inc., which also developed Equibase’s mobile website, where fans can access entries, results, carryovers, scratches and changes that have been optimized for smartphone use.
