2001 International Cataloguing Standards Available on TJCIS Web Site

The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS) today announced that the 2001 edition of International Cataloguing Standards and International Statistics is available on their web site at www.equineonline.com/icscbook.

International Cataloguing Standards and International Statistics contains a complete list of 2001 stakes races accorded Group/Graded or Listed status in sales catalogues published by the world’s major Thoroughbred auction companies. A special feature allows users to download the book in its entirety or view a list of black-type races by country.

This year’s book, for the first time, includes the 2000 International Classifications, an international weighting of top runners by age and distance compiled by a panel of handicappers from Europe, the United States, Japan and Australia.

Those requiring a printed copy of International Cataloguing Standards and International Statistics should mail $12 plus $5 shipping and handling ($6 for Canadian residents and $12 for European and South American residents) to: The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc., 821 Corporate Drive, Lexington, KY 40503-2794. Kentucky residents should add six per cent sales tax.
