Lifetime Equibase Speed Figure Report Launched on equibase.com

Equibase Company LLC, the Thoroughbred industry’s official database for racing information, has introduced on equibase.com a Lifetime Equibase® Speed Figure report that provides a compilation of the Equibase Speed Figures earned by a Thoroughbred in its career.

The Lifetime Equibase Speed Figure report provides an easy way to quickly assess a horse’s historical performances within abbreviated past performances that also contain links to ChartPlusTM result charts and to video replays where available.

“This product offers an efficient way to get to the heart of a Thoroughbred’s racing history without the detail of a traditional past performance,” said Matt McCoy, eBusiness manager for Equibase. “Those who like numbers, especially, can trace a Thoroughbred’s performance history through its lifetime E Speed Figures while drilling down for additional detail via links to ChartPlus and video race replays.”

The Lifetime Equibase Speed Figure report includes the date of each race, race number, track name, the Equibase Speed Figure earned and the first three finishers. A video link appears to the left of the race date if a video replay from Post Time Technologies / RaceReplays.com is available, while the race date links to the official Equibase result chart.

The Equibase Speed Figure is the world’s most widely distributed speed figure and reflects the quality of a horse’s final time in a North American Thoroughbred race. The figure was published in approximately 23 million official past performance programs sold in North America in 2006.

Equibase Company is a partnership between The Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of North America. Through its website, http://www.equibase.com, the company offers an ever-increasing menu of racing information and handicapping products for handicappers of all skill levels.
